Happy Birthday

Hi Guys

yesterday was my sisters birthday.  She was lucky when she was born because she was due on 29th February so she would only be 9 next year.  That would have saved me a fortune on birthday cards though lol.

I made her a twisted easel card using a 5 3/4" whisper white card base.  Open your card out and on the left hand panel you want to score diagonally from the bottom righthand corner to the top lefthand corner and fold inwards.  When you make your mounts for the front remember that you only need to stick the righthand diagonal onto the card base.

I have used Chocolate Chip and Real Red for the mounts and edged with the scallop trim border punch.  I made the main flower using the fancy flower punch and punched 5 out from Greenhouse Gala paper (20% off catalogue price at the moment at £7.00 instead of £8.75).  The smaller flowers, also from the Greenhouse Gala paper, have been punched out using the 5 Petal Flower punch and the Boho Blossoms punch.
I finished it off with a few pearls and stamped a greeting from Sincere Salutations in Whisper White Craft ink and embossed it with White embossing powder.

I hope you like and until next time

Happy crafting

  3. I love the colour combination on this Emma and the flower is FAB, I had to giggle at the " leap year " comment, that would be cool to be born on the 29th Feb then I wouldn`t have to lie about my age I`d only be 10 !! LOL, hugs Sara xxx
