Woohoo

Hi Guys

Great news, the ornament punch is back for you to buy.  Now don't think that this punch is just for Christmas as it has many other uses, one of which is a fish.

(apologies for the quality of the photograph)

or a flower with the sweet treat cups as below

Instructions to make this can be found here.

If you would like to order one then you can get in touch with me by phoning me or emailing me at the details in my header.

I hope you like and until next time

Frame It

I am sorry that it has been a fortnight again since my last post but I have been so busy.  Last week I attended a pamper night and was making things for that as well as putting my back out.

Well this week on Try It On Tuesdays it is the alter it week and we have to alter a frame.  I have done it Stampin' Up! style.  The top frame is using the Nursery Suite Speciality papers teamed up with Baja Breeze c/s and Pear Pizzazz ribbon.  The bottom frame has been done using Love Letter papers.  I have used the Artistic Etchings stamp set for the Amour which has been punched with the Oval Large punch and fixed with a frame from the hodgepodge hardware that I coloured with reinker and some Isopropyl Alcohol mixed to go on the metal.  This was then wrapped with basic black striped grosgrain ribbon.

Now don't forget to go and look at my teamies work on Try It On Tuesdays and we have 2 new members to the team as well.

I hope you like and until next time

Chocolate

Hi Guys

well I have been absent from my blog for a while because my mojo left me.  Well it has come back and I am here for a Try It On Tuesday challenge.

As the title suggests Chocolate is the theme this week as it was our Michelles birthday last week.  Go on over to Try It On Tuesdays to see what the rest of the team have done.

Here is my contribution for this week.

I have used two different stamp sets for this card.  Set one is Big Bold Birthday and set two is On a Pedestal.  I stamped the pedestal from On a Pedestal.  I then stamped and cut out the cake case from the Big Bold Birthday set and put it through my paper crimper.  The muffin top has been stamped with versamark on Chocolate Chip card and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I have teamed this up with Sweet and Sour DSP and Early Espresso Wide Stripe Grosgrain ribbon.

I hope you like and I promise it won't be as long til my next entry.

Until next time

Happy Birthday

Hi Guys

yesterday was my sisters birthday.  She was lucky when she was born because she was due on 29th February so she would only be 9 next year.  That would have saved me a fortune on birthday cards though lol.

I made her a twisted easel card using a 5 3/4" whisper white card base.  Open your card out and on the left hand panel you want to score diagonally from the bottom righthand corner to the top lefthand corner and fold inwards.  When you make your mounts for the front remember that you only need to stick the righthand diagonal onto the card base.

I have used Chocolate Chip and Real Red for the mounts and edged with the scallop trim border punch.  I made the main flower using the fancy flower punch and punched 5 out from Greenhouse Gala paper (20% off catalogue price at the moment at £7.00 instead of £8.75).  The smaller flowers, also from the Greenhouse Gala paper, have been punched out using the 5 Petal Flower punch and the Boho Blossoms punch.
I finished it off with a few pearls and stamped a greeting from Sincere Salutations in Whisper White Craft ink and embossed it with White embossing powder.

I hope you like and until next time

Life on Mars

Hi Guys

this week on Try It On Tuesdays we have been challenged to produce a card that is inspired by a song.  I struggled and then my hubby said 'how about Life on Mars?'  So Life on Mars it is.

I have used the make a monster set and stamped them on the Brights DSP stack and cut out.  I have then stamped the features onto Whisper White cut out and glued them on.  My spaceship at the bottom right is a Sweet Treat Cup stuck into the inside of the card.  The monster is stuck to the back of the card so that you can see it when you open the card.  My planet at the top left is two 13/4" circles in Real Red and Tangerine Tango.  The Real Red has been punched using the two holes from the Cropodile and also the 1/16" punch.  My sign has been made using the Party this Way set.  I have stamped in Whisper White and embossed with SU! white embossing powder.  The stick on the arrow is a stirrer from a local coffee shop.  My stars are some of the gorgeous Basic Rhinestones.

Now don't forget to go and look at the rest of my teamies work on Try It on Tuesdays.

I hope you like and until next time
