New Classes

I am planning on starting stamping classes in Grantham. I already have one class established which runs on the 2nd and 3rd Tuesday of every month. It caters for all levels of crafting and we are starting our Christmas Workshops on 15 September.

My Stamping Classes will be on Thursday evenings from 7.15 to 9.30. At the moment I am only holding one a month. The first one being on 24th September. It will cost £15 and you will make at least 3 cards and 1 3d project.

If you would like to attend either then please email me here or phone me on 07793972024 to book your place.

I look forward to hearing from you all soon

Happy crafting

Tuesday Taggers Week 15

Hi Guys

Well the challenge this week on Tuesday Taggers is to decorate a bottle to give as a gift to a friend. Michelle has put together a fabulous tutorial for you to use if you need some inspiration. However, the rest of the team have produced a variety of different ideas as usual.

This is my contribution for this week. I have used some little pots that I have had hanging around for a while.

The tutorial for this is on Jo's blog.

I chose black and white for my colour scheme this week because it is just classic.

Don't forget this week we are sponsored by The Craft Barn. You can buy some absolutely fantastic stuff there, especially for altering which is good this week.

I hope you like and until next time

Happy crafting

Just a little one today. This is one using the Clare Curd Signature Range. I have made a double slider card. You can find a really good tutorial on this on Splitcoast Stampers. They have fantastic tutorials over there and loads of other good things as well. I used Stampin' Write markers to colour in the image.

I hope you like

Until next time, happy crafting

Time for Something Sweet

I made these a couple of days ago. I have had the test tubes for absolutely ages and haven't got round to using them. But here they are. I have used all Stampin' Up products to make this little treat (except the ribbon, which is from my stash) (Green Galore, Gable Green card stock, Summer Picnic Designer Paper, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch and 1 1/4" Circle Punch). I have filled them with 'Millions'.

I hope you like them.

Bye for now and until next time.

This is a little box that I found over on this lovely ladies blog, Sarah. She is fantastic at paper engineering. I waited for a long time for the tutorial to be ready for this cantilever box and you too can buy the template over at Sarah's blog.

I have used green and lilac card stock from my stash and the papers are My Minds Eye Bloom & Grow range.

I had loads of fun doing this.

Until next time

Hope you all like

Tuesday Taggers Week 14

Hi Guys

OMG how fast do these weeks keep going. It only seems like yesterday that I was posting last weeks challenge. This week we want you to go get RETRO. Apparently it was my choice (I don't remember choosing) and the rest of the DT on Tuesday Taggers are hating me for choosing it. My entry is here,

I have stamped the background with a paisley stamp and versamark. I have then used Cosmic Shimmer mica powders to highlight where I stamped. I have then used a paper from a DCWV pad 'Pocket Full of Posies' and taken elements from it using circle punches and matting them onto another piece of PFOP paper and then on silver mirri card.

Paisley and flowers always remind me of retro and my teenage years which is my retro era.

I hope you all like it

Until next time

Now for something completely different...

Hi Guys

I have finally taken the plunge and done the challenge over on Dy Reaveleys of using a 'queen' from Lisa's Altered Art. You had to take one of the Queens from Pattys collection and make a piece of art from it. I have been doing this for about 4 weeks but just haven't had the nerve til now. Last night I sat with my paint dabbers, my queens, baby wipes, gesso and my box of bits. I didn't know where to start so I grabbed a canvas and sat down at my table.

This is my finished item, I am not sure whether it is 'right' for Dy's challenge but I had fun. Now I have just got to go and mail it to Dy.

Until next time, happy crafting

Tuesday Taggers Week 13

Hi Everybody

Time for another Tuesday Taggers challenge. This week the theme is Birds and the Bees. Well my mojo went on holiday this week and left me completely blank.

I turned to Digistamps and managed to find some inspiration from DigiStamp Boutique. I used the Animal Kingdom set and used the bird and the bee on the set. Using photoshop I managed to flip the bee so that I had one facing each way.

I coloured the image with promarkers and copics. The card stock is Stampin' Up! Kraft and Bashful Blue.

The paper stock is also Stampin' Up!. It is from the Summer Picnic set. The ribbon is from my stash as are the gems.

I have used stickles on the wings of the bees and also used glossy accents on the bees and also on the flowers.

I hope you like

Until next time, happy crafting

Tuesday Taggers Week 12

Flowers pretty Flowers

Guess what the theme is this week on Tuesday Taggers. Yep thats right it is flowers. The Design Team have a couple of new additions and the work this week is simply stunning.

My tag is made from punched shapes.

The card stock is Tempting Turquoise and the papers are from the Washington Apple Paper set from the SU! Mini Catty. I have used the Scallop Circle, Boho Blossoms, 5 Petal Flower, 1/2" circle, 1/4" circle punches and moulded and shaped them with an embossing tool on a foam mat. The Scallop Circle has been cut about 1/2" in from every indent and then curled using the embossing tool. The sentiment was created by using Doodlebug rubons and a white gel pen.

The butterfly is parchment that has been glittered with stickles.

Don't forget to go look at the rest of the DT's work.

I hope you enjoy

Post It note Holder

Hi All

Well this is a little thing that I made with a group of ladies that I teach along with some other things as well.

We had fun making this and it was something that I thought wouldn't take long at all but between this and the other two things it took them nearly 3 hours, but we did have a giggle.

I have used Oval All for the sentiment and the oval and scallop oval punches all from the mini catalogue to punch it out. Card stock for this is Bashful Blue.

The Designer Series Paper is Washington Apple again from the mini catalogue.

Card stock is lovely lilac and lavender lace which can be bought from the main catalogue.

I have seen this idea done before but I can't remember where from so apologies to the original owner of the design.

I hope you like.

Enjoy

Tuesday Taggers Week 11

Hi Guys

sorry for the delay in getting my post for Tuesday Taggers up this week but something family turned up and I had to go and do my bit.

Here is my entry for this weeks wall hanging, the theme was recycling. My wall hanging is the subject of the tutorial so you can see what I used for mine on there. The stamp that I used is one of the Paper Artsy Squiggly Ink Love & Kisses plate. Michelle, Janet and I were lucky to be able to spend the weekend at a retreat earlier this month where we made the tutorial. I saw Michelles in person and it is fantastic. As is Janets and she showed me how to do the Father Christmas part of her hanging. I had a fantastic time making this one. Thanks to Michelle for the photography and putting the tutorial together.

We are sponsored by The Craft Barn and you can find a link to them on my side bar. Again they are offering a fantastic £15 voucher to spend in their shop for the winner, how fab is that.

Once again the Design Team have surpassed themselves with their entries which you can find on Tuesday Taggers. Remember to be in with a chance of winning the prize this week you need to link back to Tuesday Taggers and The Craft Barn.

I hope you enjoy doing yours as much as we enjoyed doing ours.

Til next time
