Hi Guys
I said yesterday that there was a new promotion on today. The promotion is 20% of certain 2 Step Stampin' sets, there is a link on my side bar.
A few of us on ILWS have got together to do a blog hop and are using Scrapbooking as our base. You should have come here from Zoƫ and will go on to Pat at the end of mine. I have chosen to use Loads of Love which is on the promotion. I have also used the Loads of Love accessories and the Tailgating wheel to compliment it.
Here are my offerings.
A little mini book. I have done the corners of my mat with a circle punch, used the jumbo eyelets and doodled around the edge.
I have matted the photos onto Chocolate Chip and then added hidden journal pages that pull out with the round tab punch.
Now you need to go and visit Pat to see the fabulous creations she has made.
Until next time
Happy Crafting

Just some brayering
Hi Guys
If somebody had said to me a year ago that I would be able to brayer without getting any lines on my work I would have laughed at them. Now though I can brayer confidently and produce pieces of work that I am very very proud of. I have to thank my fellow teamie and very good friend Michelle for showing me how to do it.
Here are some pieces of work I have done this week

Now though I can brayer confidently and produce pieces of work that I am very very proud of. I have to thank my fellow teamie and very good friend Michelle for showing me how to do it.
Here are some pieces of work I have done this week
This is just general brayering using a piece of waste paper torn so that I could form hills. The tree is from Lovely as a Tree
Done the same as the one above but only one hill. I have used 3 stamp sets in this piece. Forest Friend (coloured the white bits with white gel pen), Autumn Days for the foliage around the edges and Lovely as a Tree for the trees.

This is just done by brayering the top in regal rose and the bottom with bashful blue. The bottom stripes have been done by randomly putting elastic bands on my brayer and inking up and rollering over the image. I have used Flight of the Butterfly for the stamp set.
Just a little bit of what I have been doing this week.
I hope you like and until next time

Tuesday Taggers Tag it
Today on tuesday taggers it is a tag theme that is being sponsored by my lovely friend Georgina.
My tag is using some of the new paper from the Sweet Pea paper stack, chocolate chip card stock, Old Olive ink that I have brayered flat on to the tag. I have then scrunched up a piece of paper and inked up my brayer again and rolled across this paper. Then brayer over your card stock and you get this mottled effect. The stamp at the grass/sky line is from the Tiny Tags in old olive. I have used Trendy Trees in Close to Cocoa and Old Olive. I have brayered the sky with bashful blue a couple of times to get some depth at the top. I have stamped some of the tiny tag stamps and punched out with the Medium Jewellery Tag punch attached with Linen Thread. The last step is a length of Chocolate Chip double stitched grosgrain ribbon with a word window punched out of brayered bashful blue and punched with the 1/16" punch and closed with a gold brad.

Swirls and Curls
Well what a week I have had. I had a fab day in Alford on Saturday with 9 lovely ladies, a workshop and my fellow SU! demo Zoe. Sunday I was in Skipton with lots of other lovely ladies celebrating a 60th birthday with a person who didn't know it was going to happen (which was fab) and today I have picked up my shiny new car (a brand new Nissan Qashqai (pron Kashki)).
Well onto today. Tuesday Taggers have swirls and curls for their topic this week and the lovely Pat has chosen the topic.
Here is my entry for this week

I am hoping that you can see the swirls on the backing card. These have been made by using the Whimsy Wheel (SU!) and versamark onto whisper white c/s. I have then used my brayer to colour the ATC using Creamy Caramel and Really Rust. I have used the corresponding Stamp Set Garden Whimsy. I have stamped the butterflies in Creamy Caramel on the ATC and then stamped on a scrap of card the two butterflies. I cut them out, including the bodies and stuck them to the ATC. I have also used the phrase from the same set. The ribbon is Chocolate Chip 1/4" grosgrain. I have stuck a length of it on the left hand side of the card and added a bit that has been frayed. I have then stuck a bow on top.
I hope you like.
Until next time happy crafting

Tuesday Taggers - Digi Week
Here is my take on the little mouse

I coloured my mouse with a mixture of copic, pro and tria markers and then cut it out. I have coloured the background with Ranger Distress Inks and cut and dry pads. I started with Tattered Rose and went all over the paper. I then used Milled Lavender and Dusty Concord going in a little less in each case. I then blended them by going over with the Tattered Rose again. The stamps are new ones from Stamping Up! called Autumn Days. I have stamped them with Vintage Photo distress ink. I distressed the edge of the card with a thread cutter and then 3d'd them onto the card base. I also used ribbon from my stash to jazz up the side.
I hope you like and until next time

Woo hoo a crafty post
Here is my first crafty post. These are the thank you cards I sent out to my customers to mark the start off the new year.
I have used Chocolate Chip for the base card with Close to Cocoa for the matting layer. 1/4" white grosgrain ribbon of which I have coloured some with Chocolate Chip ink. I have stamped thanks from the 'Daily Flexible Phrases' on one of the strips of ribbon. The main stamp set I have used is from one of the Sale-a-Bration stamp sets called 'Polka Dot Punches' (which you can order if you spend £45 or more in the catalogue until the 28th February, email me at emmdaye@ntlworld.com to place an order if you want to become one of the proud owners of this stamp set) I have stamped them with Chocolate Chip Ink.
Hope you like this card and I promise more will come.
