Tuesday Taggers Love is all around

Hi Guys

Tuesday Taggers are on a quest for all things LOVEly to take us to Valentines day. The DT have surpassed themselves yet again and produced some fantastic work.

This week I have made an easel box. I have done it in Close to Cocoa and Creamy Caramel. I used the Heart to Heart punch and the Love you much stamp set from SU!

I hope you like it. Don't forget to pop over to Tuesday Taggers to see what the rest of the team have done.

Until next time

Happy crafting

Tuesday Taggers

Hi Guys

Well it is my turn to choose the project on Tuesday Taggers this week and I chose Teddy Bears because I have a bit of a passion for them.

Again I have done a punch art creation. I started with a 1 3/4" circle punch (117405) in Creamy Caramel for my bears face and 3/4" (110107) Creamy Caramel circles for its ears and paws. For the inside of the ears I have used 1/2" (110103) Pretty in Pink circle. The snout is made from a 3/4" (110107) Chocolate Chip circle and the nose is made from a 1/4" circle punch (110844) in Basic Black. Its eyes are made from 1/2" circle (110103) Chocolate Chip, 1/4" Circle (110844) in Whisper White and 1/8" Circle (109967) in basic black. It's nose has Crystal Effects (101055) on it to add a little something to it.

For the rest of the card

I have used a creamy caramel card base (10.5 cm x 14.8 cm/5.8" x 4.1"), on which I have matted a piece of Chocolate Chip DSP. Using a piece of 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain (117384) in Chocolate Chip and a strip of Close to Cocoa across the middle of the card. Punched the card with the word window punch (117406). I have attached a strip of So Saffron to use as a closure. I have placed my bear on top of a Creamy Caramel and Chocolate Chip DSP.

Just to finish off the card I have used the Heart to Heart punch (117403) in Rose Red and then added Crystal Effects(101055).

I hope you like and until next time

Happy Crafting

Stamp With Us Challenge

My entry for this weeks challenge on the Stamp With Us.  This week it is a colour challenge and here is the image we were given to work with

So I used the colours.  I found it really difficult to stick to one colour and it is really challenged me this week.

So with no more said, here is my card for the challenge

Card base is very vanilla
Friendly background stamp
Close to Cocoa CS for my clock and sentiment and underneath my ribbon
Chocolate Chip Double Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon
Chocolate Chip DSP (distressed by scrunching up paper and card stock)
Sense of Time stamp set from mini catalogue

Hope you all like

Woo hoo a crafty post

Here is my first crafty post.  These are the thank you cards I sent out to my customers to mark the start off the new year.

I have used Chocolate Chip for the base card with Close to Cocoa for the matting layer. 1/4" white grosgrain ribbon of which I have coloured some with Chocolate Chip ink.  I have stamped thanks from the 'Daily Flexible Phrases' on one of the strips of ribbon.  The main stamp set I have used is from one of the Sale-a-Bration stamp sets called 'Polka Dot Punches' (which you can order if you spend £45 or more in the catalogue until the 28th February, email me at emmdaye@ntlworld.com to place an order if you want to become one of the proud owners of this stamp set) I have stamped them with Chocolate Chip Ink.

Hope you like this card and I promise more will come.
