August Promotion

Hi Guys

I said yesterday that there was a new promotion on today.  The promotion is 20% of certain 2 Step Stampin' sets, there is a link on my side bar.

A few of us on ILWS have got together to do a blog hop and are using Scrapbooking as our base.  You should have come here from ZoĆ« and will go on to Pat at the end of mine.  I have chosen to use Loads of Love which is on the promotion.  I have also used the Loads of Love accessories and the Tailgating wheel to compliment it.

Here are my offerings.

A little mini book.  I have done the corners of my mat with a circle punch, used the jumbo eyelets and doodled around the edge.

I have matted the photos onto Chocolate Chip and then added hidden journal pages that pull out with the round tab punch.

Now you need to go and visit Pat to see the fabulous creations she has made.

Until next time

Happy Crafting

Christmas in July

Hi Guys

Well this week was my turn to choose the theme on Tuesday Taggers and I chose Christmas in July.  We all know that every year we say that we are going to start our cards earlier than last year and each year we (most of us anyway) get them done in the last week of November whilst panicking about other things Christmassy.

I have done three cards that use Old Olive and Chocolate Chip, not normal christmas colours but mix them with the Serene Snowflakes stamp set and dazzling diamonds and you are set for a season of bling.

To get the Dazzling Diamonds to stick I have used the two way glue pen to add dots to the snowflakes.

I have used the Old Olive satin ribbon from the Mini Catty to embellish and here you go.

Tuesday Taggers Tag it

Today on tuesday taggers it is a tag theme that is being sponsored by my lovely friend Georgina.

My tag is using some of the new paper from the Sweet Pea paper stack, chocolate chip card stock, Old Olive ink that I have brayered flat on to the tag.  I have then scrunched up a piece of paper and inked up my brayer again and rolled across this paper.  Then brayer over your card stock and you get this mottled effect.  The stamp at the grass/sky line is from the Tiny Tags in old olive.  I have used Trendy Trees in Close to Cocoa and Old Olive.  I have brayered the sky with bashful blue a couple of times to get some depth at the top.  I have stamped some of the tiny tag stamps and punched out with the Medium Jewellery Tag punch attached with Linen Thread.  The last step is a length of Chocolate Chip double stitched grosgrain ribbon with a word window punched out of brayered bashful blue and punched with the 1/16" punch and closed with a gold brad.

Sorry for being a bad blogger

I know that it has been a while since my last post but I have not had internet. I have quite alot to show you as well.

Lets start with Tuesday Taggers. Let it Snow is the last challenge until 2010 as the Design Team have been given a holiday!!! Woo Hoo:).

My take on this is an ATC (I know, I know. It is something that I do rarely) as it suited the stamp set that I used. I have used Stampin' Up! Winter Post. I have used Blush Blossom to stamp the postcard stamp and Do not open sign. To stamp the post mark I have stamped off the stamp first and then placed it on the card. I have sponged around the edge with blush blossom and close to cocoa.

I have stamped the couple in Close to Cocoa and then used the blending pen to pull the colour in to the image.

This has all been done on Very vanilla card stock. I have added dazzling diamonds to the bobbles on the hats and also under the skates. If you look closely you can see a shadow underneath the skates. This is done by stamping your stamp on the smooth side of your imaging sheet (part of your stamp-a-majig) placing it underneath your image and rubbing to transfer the image to your design.

I hope you like

Until next time, happy crafting

Tuesday Taggers - Bursts of Colour

Hi Guys

Well another week has passed and I am not sure where they are going. This week for Tuesday Taggers we were asked for Bursts of Colour. I really didn't want to do the obvious and do fireworks so instead a flash of inspiration came to me on Friday and I sprayed some white card with shimmer sprays that I made with mica powders, re-inker and water.

I punched it with boho blossoms punch from SU! and attached them to some crafting wire which I have twisted round a pencil. My leaves are punched from green card with the 5 petal flower punch also from SU! My plant pot is made from brown card stock and I have used a border punch that has been put through a paper crimper just to add some dimension.

I hope you like and until next time

Woo hoo a crafty post

Here is my first crafty post.  These are the thank you cards I sent out to my customers to mark the start off the new year.

I have used Chocolate Chip for the base card with Close to Cocoa for the matting layer. 1/4" white grosgrain ribbon of which I have coloured some with Chocolate Chip ink.  I have stamped thanks from the 'Daily Flexible Phrases' on one of the strips of ribbon.  The main stamp set I have used is from one of the Sale-a-Bration stamp sets called 'Polka Dot Punches' (which you can order if you spend £45 or more in the catalogue until the 28th February, email me at emmdaye@ntlworld.com to place an order if you want to become one of the proud owners of this stamp set) I have stamped them with Chocolate Chip Ink.

Hope you like this card and I promise more will come.
