Anything Goes

Hi Guys

Well it is that time of the week again for Tuesday Taggers and for once I am on time.  It was my turn this week to set the challenge and I chose 'Anything Goes'.  When I chose it several months ago I did not realise how busy I would be.

I have chosen to do a hallowe'en card which is not normally something that I take part in.  However I have regional training on Friday and a Craft fair so Hallowe'en is the order of the day.

I have used a card base of Old Olive with a mat of Basic Black and Confetti White, which has been punched with the scallop edge punch.  I have edged the scallop edge with Old Olive.  To make the pumpkin I have used Pumpkin Pie cardstock which I have edged with Pumpkin Pie ink and a dauber.  I made a stencil for the face and then sponged on with Basic Black. The stalk for the pumpkin is Old Olive, again sponged with Old Olive.  I have used the tiny tags set and stamped and punched the boo stamp.

I hope you like and until next time

Tuesday Taggers - Jolly Old Saint Nick

Hi Guys

Todays challenge on Tuesday Taggers is 'Jolly Old Saint Nick'. The girls on the DT have done a fabulous job again and there are some lovely examples and very varied again. Our guest designer Suzanne has surpassed herself, even though she says that she was very nervous about doing this.

My entry is some punch art. They are boxes of Lindt chocolates that are for spot prizes at my clubs Christmas Social tonight. I have made them in to Santa by using what seemed like hundreds of punches. Seriously though it did take 9 seperate punches to make these. They go like this (all SU! punches)

1 3/4" Circle = head (Blush Blossom)
Small Tag = Hat (Real Red)
1/2" Circle = nose (Blush Blossom)
Boho Blossoms = Pompom (Whisper White)
Scallop Oval = Beard (Whisper White)
1/4" Circle = Eyes (Whisper White)
Scallop Circle = Hair (Whisper White)
1/8" Circle = Eyes (Black)
Scallop Edge = Trim on hat (Whisper White)

His cheeks have been coloured with Stampin' Pastels. His coat is made from a Real Red rectangle with the top corners clipped, a strip of black for his belt and some gold for his belt buckle.

I hope this makes sense to you and you have a go at doing them. If you do, please let me know so that I can come and have a look.

Until next time

Time for Something Sweet

I made these a couple of days ago. I have had the test tubes for absolutely ages and haven't got round to using them. But here they are. I have used all Stampin' Up products to make this little treat (except the ribbon, which is from my stash) (Green Galore, Gable Green card stock, Summer Picnic Designer Paper, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch and 1 1/4" Circle Punch). I have filled them with 'Millions'.

I hope you like them.

Bye for now and until next time.

Time to Craft is nearly upon me

Here is another card I made recently.   I have only got 3 weeks left and then I can craft to my hearts content.  However looking at my calendar May and June are pretty full.

I have got a workshop at Art From The Heart in Harrogate with the fabulous Dyan Reavely in June and in May I am going to an ATC meet in Skipton to help out a dear friend of mine Janet and do some demos.

Before all of that happens I have got to finish Uni.

To keep me going here is a card that I have made.
