Can you believey

Tuesday Taggers is ONE year old.  Who'd have thought that we would have gotten this far with so many followers and so many crafters joining in with the challenges every week.

As is normal for me I am late in wishing Tuesday Taggers a happy birthday, as I am with most birthdays.

Teri one of the fab design teamies has drawn a fabulous cake image which you can use to do your tag.  We are getting everyone including us teamies to swap tags with another person in order to celebrate.

I have coloured my piccie in with Stampin' Write markers.

Balloons      Pumpkin Pie and Really Rust
Ribbon        Summer Sun
Cake           Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel
Plate           Mellow Moss, Sage Shadow

I have used Pumpkin Pie DSP and Chocolate Chip/Whisper White Cardstock.  I used the 'Circle of Friendship' stamp set for the greeting and Chocolate Chip Double stitched grosgrain ribbon to finish it off.

I hope you have fun joining in with this weeks challenge.

I hope you like and until next time

happy crafting

Challenge Entry

Hi Guys

As you all know I am on the design team for Tuesday Taggers, well this was created because another challenge site had to close its doors for what we thought forever, but it is back and that can only mean one thing, Tag You're It!.

The first challenge is On a Bough.  How lucky am I that I have bought the new set from Stampin' Up!, Bird On A Branch (which you can purchase by emailing me here).  It is a fab set that works best as a silhouette.

I have brayered the top with Ruby Red and Pumpkin Pie using a 1 3/4" circle punched from a post it note.  I have gone over the circle with Summer Sun after to just give it some muted colour.  The hills have all been done with Mellow Moss and Old Olive at different strengths.  Then the main focal piece of the tag is the bird on a branch.  I have stamped with Basic Black for the main image and then restamped by stamping off.  The blossoms are from the same set but have been stamped off first before stamping on my image.

Finally I have added the greeting, again from Bird on a Branch and ribbon, More Mustard grosgrain and Mellow Moss gingham ribbons.

So why not hop on over to Tag You're It and have a go yourself.
I hope you like

Until next time happy crafting

Mini Blog Hop

Hi Guys

In less than a week the SU! mini catty launches and what better way to preview it than us SU! Independent Demonstrators having a blog hop starting here with Carol.

If I have done this right you should have come here from Carol and you will leave here via Pats blog.

My contribution for this blog hop is this....

It is a photo cube made from cd jewel cases (I have seen this on the web, but cannot remember where I have seen it. If somebody knows please can they tell me so I can credit). I have used the back cover of one and clipped it to the front cover of another. The base is made from a piece of cardstock at 8"x8". I have used the new Sweet Pea DSP from the mini. The pieces of card stock I have used as the photo frame are 5 3/4"x5 1/8" scored at 5 1/2" on the 5 3/4" side. Again I have used the Sweet Pea paper. I have also used the My Sweet Pea Stamp set for the stamped flowers in Chocolate Chip. I have stamped with versamark on the backing card. I have used Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive card stock.

Not only have we got this blog hop but there are two more happening too, one here and the other one here.

I hope you like and keep looking over the next few days and I will be posting more from the Mini Catty.

Until next time happy crafting

Stamp With Us Challenge 4

This week the challenge is a recipe.

2 x patterned papers
4 x brads
1 x ribbon

Well I have killed two birds with one stone.  I have made this c
ard for my friend Henris birthday.

Looking out of the window in my craft space and it is really sunny and looks just like a summers day.  With this in mind I chose some lovely sunny colours.

Rainbow Sherbert Designer Series Papers
Tempting Turquoise CS
Green Galore CS
Petal Pizzaz Stamps (mini catty)
Polka Dots Stamp
Soft Subtles brads (Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery, pretty in pink)
Pumpkin Pie, Green Galore, Pretty in Pink, Gable Green, Summer Sun ink pads
Tempting Turquoise 1/4" grosgrain ribbon
1/8" Circle Punch

The Summer Sun flower has been stamped twice and the top one I have cut down between the petals and curled them up.  The Pretty In Pink flower I have punched out the circles and then folded the flaps back.

I hope you like it but most of all I hope Henri likes it.

Bye for now
