Happy Birthday to me

At the end of this week it is my Birthday and on Tuesday Taggers it is my turn to choose the theme so I went for 'Cakes & Balloons'.  My teamies have come up with some absolutely fantastic creations for you to get inspiration from.

We also have two prizes this week and all you have to do is just look at the TT's blog, complete the challenge and leave your name on Mr Linky.  This is one of the prizes (the second may vary in colours slightly)

Here is my entry

I have used on a pedestal stamp set stamped in brilliant blue, pixie pink and pink passion.  The DSP is from the mini catty paper stack 'Sweet Pea'.  The ribbon is Rose Red 1" Double Stitched Grosgrain ribbon.  I have cut a slit in the card at the front and slipped the ribbon through and tied in a knot on the front.

As well as being my birthday at the end of the week it is also my other halves birthday on the same day as well as being my MIL birthday today (this is her card) and my mums birthday tomorrow. (What a busy week)

I look forward to seeing all of your wonderful creation over the next week so pop on over to Tuesday Taggers for a go.

Until next time

Tuesday Taggers - Handbags and Gladrags

Hi Guys

When I chatted to Janet from Tuesday Taggers she thought that we would go with the party season and the little black dress. Not for me I am afraid, I have done a handbag and shoe for you to look at.

My shoe pattern and the flower on the shoe are from online classes with Stamp with Us where the lovely Monica showed us how to make them. The handbag was with the same class but no pattern so I just made it up.

The flowers were made with a scallop circle punch, the ribbon is from my stash.

I hope you like this.

Until next time

Stamp With Us

This weeks challenge on the Stamp With Us blog is the theme of Birthday. I am cutting it extremely fine this week and I have gone for a 3D project this week and not a card.

My recipe is as follows

SU! Pink Passion card stock for bag
SU! Lovely Lilac card stock for pockets
DCWV (sorry) Card stock for pocket decoration
Hodgepodge Hardware Brad on pocket
Ribbon Buckle (source unknown)
Pink Ribbon

I am sorry that not all of the menu is SU!  I saw this rucksack first on inking idaho and changed it a bit to suit my needs.  I would put some choccies in here for the person that I am giving it too.

Hope you like
