Hi Guys
Well here is the tutorial I promised you.  I am sorry that it wasn't yesterday but life got in the way.  You can see the project below and I have used Concord Crush for the house, Pumpkin Pie for the roof.
Recipe
Concord Crush  10.5"x9.5"
Pumpkin Pie  2.5"x2.25"
Basic Black to punch out 2 scallop squares
Whisper White to punch out Ovals
Black Stampin' Write Marker
Cardstock Vellum
White gel pen
Clip from Clip Assortment
Concord Crush Ribbon

Using the template below cut and score your cardstock.  Fold the two outside sections to the middle and take your 13/4" circle punch and punch through both thicknesses of card stock.

Stick your vellum card stock over the holes you made with the punch.  Now assemble your house, making sure you leave the top open.

Take your Pumpkin Pie card stock and punch the edge with the scallop trim border punch and adhere to your box.

Punch 2 scallop squares out of your basic black and fold in half.  Cut two slits from the flat edge to the point about 1/2" long.  Fold these back on themselves to create the 'ears' and draw two white dots on for eyes.

The largest ghost is made from using the extra large oval punch.  Then take the scallop oval and punch the bottom off.  Next go around the edge of the ghost with either a dauber and basic black ink or your basic black Stampin' Write marker.

Now stick everything onto your 'house'.  Add your clip with a bow made from the 1/2" polystitched ribbon in concord crush and you have finished.

Until next time

Hallowe'en is upon us!!

Well at the end of this week it is hallowe'en and then it is only a week til the biggest event in the Stampin' Up! year.  It is convention which includes the Awards dinner and I am going.  Unfortunately I won't be walking the stage this year but I will be next year and would love for you to join me as part of my team.  If you would like to take part in next years convention then you need to get hold of me by emailing me at emmadaye@sky.com and I will get back to you.

It is a really good deal to join SU! at the moment as the starter kit is just £119 and you get absolutely loads in it.  If you join my team between now and when I go to convention I will send you a goody pack to help you on your way as a demonstrator.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Come back tomorrow when I will have a hallowe'en project to show you, with a tutorial to go with it.

Until next time

Pandora's Box

Hi Guys

Over on Tuesday Taggers my good friend and teamie Georgina has set the challenge.  She has challenged us to make a box and a handmade gift to put in the box.

I struggled with the gift to put in the box but the box was the easy part.  For the box I have used Concorde Crush and Daffodil Delight and the Newsprint DSP.  To age the newsprint I used Chocolate Chip, Early Espresso and Basic Black.  I have made a funky flower for the top that will be coming later this week.

For the present I made a plaque for my friend who will receive this shortly.  The tag on the front is from the HodgePodge hardware and I have embossed it black by putting it in Versamark and then black embossing powder.  The stamp set is Baroque Motifs.  I have punched out the cherish with the word window punch and stuck it down with dimensionals so it stood proud of the card.

Well I hope you like and all you need to do now is go over to Tuesday Taggers and check out the rest of the design teams work.

And until next time

New Product

Hi Guys

Well I haven't stopped since the launch of the catalogue.  I have a class tomorrow that I am hosting with ZoĆ« in Long Bennington and we have some fab things to make.

Here are some of the new products from the catalogue.

This is contempo christmas that we made at regional training last week.  It is stamped onto Whisper White in Cherry Cobbler ink.  It is matted on Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White onto a base of Early Espresso.

I have used Ornate Flowers to make this card.  I have stamped using Versamark onto the Very Vanilla card base.  I have then stamped the main image with Versamark onto Concord Crush and embossed with White embossing powder.  The Concord Crush has been matted onto Pear Pizzazz and I have used rhinestone brads on the righthand corner to balance the card.

This was taken from the Colour Coach and it is using Ornate Flowers again  I have stamped with Early Espresso onto Daffodil Delight and matted onto Cherry Cobbler.  I have finished it off with 1/8" Taffeta ribbon in basic black.

This little bag has been made from Basic Black cardstock and Newsprint DSP.  I have edged it with faux stitching in white gel pen.  The button has been made using the 3/4" circle punch and formed with an embossing tool onto something soft like a mouse mat.
This has also been made using the Newsprint DSP which I have inked with Early Espresso and Basic Black around the edge.  I have then scrumpled up the paper and flattended out and taken the Espresso ink over the wrinkles to make it look distressed.  Add some wide stripe grosgrain ribbon and a greeting from perfect punches again distressed.

Well I am sorry it took me two days to get these posted but here they are now.

I hope you like.

Until next time
